BJP and Congress two main National parties are always in fight for victory in each election. But this time in Telangana Elections 2018 it is TRS. Both National parties are unable to mark their significant presence in the state as per majority exit and opinion polls. On the other hand, elections coming closer bookies have started putting their money on Congress, TDP collation. BJP is also trying hard by conducting the rallies through its main stream leaders like Amit shah and Yogi Aditya Nath.
The voting is going happen on 7th December and the results will be declared on 11th December. Elections.in will be covering the live results and updates through its extensive network across the country.
In this article we are highlighting some of the reasons why it is difficult for major parties like BJP and Congress to mark their dominance independently in states like Telangana
The Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) is seen as master mind of building the states image across the country. On one hand Congress is trying hard to project Sonia Gandhi as the main person responsible for creation of Telangana, but on the other hand it is KCR who has the strong image and is connected to the roots of the state who is standing tall with immense popularity.
The credit in the article is also given to farmer friendly schemes like Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima have strengthened the party’s outreach and made difficult for congress and BJP to penetrate.
The biggest fight in these National parties is the fight for chief ministerial position. As usual party is unable to full fill the needs of its leaders from different communities and castes. From congress you will hear a lot of names like Jana Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Shabbir Ali, Jaipal Reddy, Komatireddy Venkatreddy, DK Aruna, Savitha Indrareddy, Geetha Reddy, Ponnala Lakashmaiah and Reventh Reddy but standing tall against them is one single person K Chandrasekhar Rao
In the nut shell TRS leadership has a strong governance and mass appeal because of several other factors.
Telangana in the 2019 elections is a multiple-horse race with only one in a prime shape to win. Rest all need support to reach the finish line.
